A Group of Saudi Shia Seminarians Attended Razavi Holy Shrine

A group of female seminarians from “Umm al-Banin” Seminary from Qatif, Saudi Arabia attended the Razavi holy shrine and visited museums of carpet, Qur’an, Supreme Leader’s donations, and the central library of Astan Quds Razavi.

Executive manager of “Umm al-Banin” Seminary in the verge of this visitation said, “18 female seminarians from “Umm al-Banin” Seminary from Qatif, Saudi Arabia attended the Razavi holy shrine.”

“Going on the pilgrimage of the eighth Imam of Shi’ite, visiting, and getting familiar with the activities of Astan Quds Razavi are the main goals of this trip”, Ateqeh Sadeq asserted.

Noting that many of these seminarians are attending the holy shrine for the first time, she said, “Visiting the museums was very valuable for them and has made them familiar with many precious works and objects existing in the museums.”

Referring to activities of Astan Quds Razavi she remarked, “All these activities indicate that this religious institution has managed to involve successfully in educational, cultural, etc. domains yielding beneficial effects for the pilgrims of this holy shrine.”

Referring to the objects in the museums, executive manager of “Umm al-Banin” Seminary from Qatif, Saudi Arabia pointed out, “Existence of such works in the vicinity of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) provides for people’s familiarity with the Islamic history and brings about awareness on different religious and cultural domains.”

Referring to the importance of preserving Islamic works, Sadeq said at the end, “Visitors can become familiar with the rich Islamic culture through visiting the works exiting in these museums and this can result in foiling the enemies’ plots in the current age.”

It is notable that visiting the museums of carpet, Qur’an, Supreme Leader’s donations, and the central library of Astan Quds Razavi were among the programs arranged for this pilgrims that provided for their familiarity with the exquisite works.
