KARACHI: Three killed in firing on hotel mostly Shiite in Hussainabad

 As many as three people were killed and many injured as a group of unknown men opened fire at a local hotel in the Hussainabad area of Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, the unknown armed bike riders opened fire on the hotel when the people were busy having breakfast early morning on Sunday in Hussainabad where the majority of people belongs to Shia Islam and various congregations are organized. The firing resulted in killing three people whereas many were critically injured.

The terrorists were successful in escaping from the sight soon after the firing. The police after investigating and recording the statements of the witnesseses registered a case under section of Anti-Terrorism Act against the suspects.

The police believe that the firing incident was result of an old feud because the suspects targeted the three men who were killed. Two of the dead bodies have been identified as Imran and Nawaz. The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical aid and as per hospital sources most of them are in a critical condition.
