Nigeria Shiite Islamic Movement to commemorate Imam Ridha (AS)’s birthday

The Shiite Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the guardianship of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky will on this coming Friday and Saturday commemorate the birthday of Imam Ridha (AS), to be held at the Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah, Zaria, Nigeria.

Sheikh Zakzaky who made the announcement at end of Nahjul Balagaha study on Monday (September 1, 2014) also said, the event will also feature hoisting of the flag that would be brought from tomb of Imam Ridha (AS) in Mashad, Iran.

He further stated that, the occasion will be witnessed by special representatives from the holy tomb of Imam Ridha (AS) in Mashhad, Iran, who would come along with the flag and other special items.

The event is scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday morning.
